Editorial standards in one line: Every price, timing, route and recommendation on PunyaPaths comes from a real first-hand visit or a verifiable government/operator source. We publish dated updates, correct mistakes openly, and never accept content that compromises the reader.

Who writes PunyaPaths

Every article on this site is written or directly supervised by Jeetmal Kumawat, founder and editor. (Jeetmal) live in Bhilwara, Rajasthan, and have personally completed every pilgrimage and most of the international trips covered on this site. There are no anonymous writers, no contributors writing under pen names, and no AI-generated trip plans pretending to be human experience.

How we verify prices

Every cost figure on PunyaPaths comes from one of three sources:

  1. A receipt or invoice from a trip I personally took.
  2. The published price on the official portal of the government body, trust, airline, or hotel.
  3. A price quoted to me in writing by a verified operator (booking confirmation email, official quote).

If a price has changed since publication, the entire article is reviewed and the publication date is updated. Stale numbers are not acceptable.

How we verify timings and procedures

Darshan timings, registration windows, visa fees, helicopter slot opening dates, and permit rules are checked against the official government or trust source within 30 days of publication. We link to the official portal in the article body so readers can verify.

What we will not do

  • We do not accept paid review trips that require positive coverage.
  • We do not publish sponsored content disguised as a regular guide.
  • We do not use AI to generate trip itineraries and pass them off as human experience.
  • We do not recommend hotels we have not personally researched or stayed in.
  • We do not link to scam booking sites, fake VIP darshan agents, or unauthorised visa middlemen.

Affiliate and advertising disclosure

PunyaPaths may use affiliate links to booking platforms (flights, hotels, tour operators) when relevant. These are clearly marked. Affiliate commissions do not influence editorial content — a hotel is recommended only if it would be recommended without an affiliate. PunyaPaths runs ads through Google AdSense (or equivalent). Ad placement does not influence editorial coverage.

Corrections and updates policy

If you spot an error, a stale price, a closed restaurant, a changed timing, or a route closure, please write to info@punyapaths.com. Verified corrections are made within 7 days and the article is republished with the new date. Major corrections include a “Corrected on [date]” line at the bottom of the affected article.
